Mayfair Brighton Canary Wharf

Harriet Drake

This is an important book that will become a core text for all therapists who work with couples. By bringing together both a review of the research on couple therapy and a framework for clinical practice, the book will give therapists the skills and knowledge to work confidently and effectively with couples who are troubled by depression. (Nick Turner, Former Director of the Relate Institute and Head of Clinical Services at Relate)

How I work

In the initial session I will discuss with you the exact nature of the problems you’re having and when things started to get difficult. I’ll ask you about your current family circumstances, early experiences and family history, in order to understand you better. At the end of the first session we’ll have made a start in trying to understand patterns that you may be stuck in and how therapy might help you.
Follow-up sessions are usually scheduled weekly at the same time although other arrangements may be possible. I offer time-limited and open –ended therapy depending on your specific needs. I generally work in Canary Wharf but some sessions are also available in Greenwich.
