About Reframe Counselling
We’ll create a bespoke programme of therapy for your situation.
Reframe Counselling is a group of psychotherapists and counsellors committed to improving our skill set, sharing this and offering a varied and bespoke approach to our clients’ needs.
Our practice has been built on the core concepts of therapy being accessible, open, caring and effective.
Reframe are proud to offer a unique approach to the therapeutic process. We believe that therapy can potentially trigger a personal growth that can ultimately result in a more balanced whole being. This then maximises the possibility of a more rounded, contented approach to both personal and professional life.
Each therapist specialises in their own fields of expertise; however, we meet for weekly supervision to exchange ideas and training.
We regularly work together if cases need a mixed model and consider this part of the bespoke service we offer our unique client base.
About the therapies we offer
Our seven-strong team of therapists are highly-trained in several different models and are able to offer therapies for depression, anxiety, couples counselling and psychosexual issues, as well as support in specialist areas such as fertility issues, LGBT+, coaching, therapy for men and trauma.
The team – Karen, Norine, Peter, Norah, Harriet, Gerhard and Ambika – are associated members of BACP, UKCP, BAP, Cosrt and SCPP and BUPA accredited.
Background on Reframe Counselling
Reframe was started in 2006 when Karen and her colleagues Deniz and Norine decided that they wanted to create a multi-discipline team that worked and learnt together.
They pooled their resources and opened an office in Canary Wharf where they became the “Go To” practice for the professionals of the Wharf.
They expanded the brand and invited other professionals to join them in the consolidating of Reframe Counselling. Unique in its day Reframe was the first entirely independent collaboration of therapists that worked to create their own brand alongside the large training organisations.
In 2012 we opened another office in Mayfair, London where each therapist offers both face to face sessions alongside Zoom or Skype work.
Nearly 15 years later the team has grown and increased the types of models that Reframe now offers, from counselling to coaching, fertility expertise , LGBT+ and HIV specialist knowledge, relationship work, high-functioning autistic couples, and psychosexual work with couples and individuals, to name a few of the many specialist fields of expertise.
With offices in Berkeley Square we offer a flexible and approachable service. Our offices are open from 7am to 9pm with some availability at weekends.
