Qualifications: MSc, MPhil, Advanced qualification in EMDR, Diploma from the IGA (Institute of Group Analysis), UKCP registered Integrative Psychotherapist & Supervisor.
I bring more than 20 years of clinical experience working in trauma and various clinical issues in both private and primary care settings and possess a range of professional qualifications.
I have also gained valuable experience working for the NHS at Maudsley Hospital, St Thomas Hospital in London, along with Victim Support Lambeth where I conducted weekly one-to-one psychotherapy sessions.
As part of the Trauma and Counselling Service for Transport for London (TfL), I specialise in offering trauma focused treatment for a variety of people and backgrounds.
My role as an Integrative Psychotherapist has equipped me with the skills and experience to also work with a range of people and issues. This includes working with people who simply cannot work out why they feel so unhappy, confused or helpless.
I believe in challenging negativity and discrimination around race, gender, sexual orientation, age, religious beliefs and socio-economic background.
As a German speaker living in London I bring my own personal experience and an acute awareness of how social exclusion operates on both personal and social realities.
I tend to work with those who fall outside the heterosexist norm. I have a keen interest in Queer Affirmative Psychotherapy as well as Anti-racist Psychotherapy.
